Voter Registration Drives

Purpose: Voter registration will take place on the above listed dates and ongoing throughout the election season with plans to host a spring activity.  Members of the Social Action committee are committed to insuring unregistered voters in the Nashville (Davidson County) community will have the opportunity to be properly registered,  receive information about the voter ID requirements and provide information regarding voting precinct locations as needed.

 

Goal/objective: (1.) To target a segment of unregistered voters in Davidson County/Tennessee with the intent to increase the numbers of individuals eligible to vote in future elections; (2.) to assist those individuals with disabilities to properly complete their application, and (3.) to provide access in an effort to increase opportunities for each individual registered to exercise their democratic right.
