MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Welcome Sorors, Friends, & Community Partners !

On behalf of the 250+ dynamic women of the Nashville Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., I welcome you to our official chapter website. We are delighted you have taken a few moments to connect with us and learn more about the chapter affectionately referred to as “NMAC” through our virtual platform.

We are a sisterhood of college-educated women committed to providing public service programming and impacting the Davidson, Wilson, Robertson, Sumner,  Maury , and Williamson counties.

Nashville Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter was chartered in 1973 by 12 determined women. Over the last 49 years, we remain faithful and committed to the ideals of our dear Sorority which are Sisterhood, Scholarship , Service, and Social Action as we continue to be front and center in the community.

Our chapter, is extremely engaged in meeting the vision of National President Soror Elsie Cooke Holmes:

Forward with Fortitude: Engaging Our Sisterhood, Empowering Our Communities, Elevating Our Impact, through relevant and impactful offerings centered on service, social action, scholarship, and sisterhood programming during these unprecedented times.

NMAC is about doing Delta’s business and as president my vision is to RESET: Rally Each Soror’s Extraordinary Talents, just in time for us to celebrate our 50th Anniversary, which will include service, reconnection, and impact, we are so excited to recognizee NMAC’s incredible journey.

NMAC looks forward to meeting you, getting you engaged, and surrounding you with sisterly love. We also encourage and welcome duly initiated members of our illustrious sorority looking for a chapter home to join us for our monthly chapter meetings which are  held in person on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm, for additional information please us a message.
